Associate Professor of Clinical Physical Therapy
Dr. Jesus Dominguez is the director of admissions and the chair of the admissions committee for the entry-level doctor of physical therapy program. Dr. Dominguez oversees admissions-related initiatives, policies and practices that are informed by the Division’s mission and vision. He is also the coordinator of the cardiopulmonary and general medicine content embedded throughout the 3-year curriculum. He instructs the second-year students in the area of cardiovascular, pulmonary and general medical pathophysiology. He is an associated faculty in Dr. Todd Schroeder’s Clinical Exercise Research Center (CERC). Dr. Dominguez most recently participated in a CERC project exploring the efficacy of blood flow restriction training in combination with resistance training as a means of enhancing recovery from injury and augmenting muscle mass and strength.
