Jessica Axelrod is a physical therapist at the Keck Hospital of USC and is an instructor of clinical physical therapy at the USC Division of Biokinesiology and Physical Therapy. She specializes in treating patients with neurologic disorders in the inpatient rehabilitation, acute and intensive care settings. She is a credentialed clinical instructor.

Dr. Axelrod is a member of the Neurologic Section of the American Physical Therapy Association where she has published fact sheets regarding nutritional considerations following spinal injury for the spinal cord injury special interest group.
