Infancy and childhood is a critical period in brain development. With a deeper understanding of the youngest brains, we hope to identify neurodevelopmental disabilities as early as possible and test interventions to optimize development. Among the areas we study:
- Motor Learning, Motor Control and Neurodevelopment: Understanding how infants and children learn and develop sensorimotor skills
- Early Identification of Atypical Development: Early identification of infants and children with neurodevelopmental disabilities
- Optimal Early Intervention Strategies: Designing and testing interventions to optimize neurodevelopmental outcomes, activity performance and socialization
