PROFESSIONAL INTERESTS

Dr. Bernard Li is an adjunct instructor of clinical physical pherapy and a faculty mentor in the orthopedic physical therapy residency, sports physical therapy residency and upper extremity athlete fellowship programs. For the Keck School of Medicine of USC, Dr. Li leads the musculoskeletal examination labs for the Introduction to Clinical Medicine courses. He has taught Principles of Therapeutic Exercise in the first-year curriculum and Integrated Management of the Extremities in the third-year doctor of physical therapy curriculum.

A board-certified orthopedic clinical specialist and sports clinical specialist, he is a member of the orthopedic and sports sections of the American Physical Therapy Association. He specializes in shoulder and elbow, baseball sports medicine, postsurgical rehabilitation and in treating patients with orthopedic disorders, sports-related injuries and overhead injuries. Dr. Li has more than 20 years of clinical experience and more than a decade in Major League Baseball. He is currently the major league physical therapist for the Los Angeles Dodgers.
