THE MIC WAS OPEN last year during the division’s inaugural Story Slam in honor of USC’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Week. Faculty, staff, students and alumni were invited to share a five-minute personal story involving a patient interaction, a cultural experience or a reflection that spoke to the theme of diversity and inclusion. We thought there was no better time to revisit some of these stories, celebrating the division’s commitment to diversity and inclusion.
