Clinical Practice

The Division of Biokinesiology and Physical Therapy at the Univeristy of Southern California has a comprehensive clinical practice component that provides high-quality physical therapy services to the surrounding community and serves as a locus for clinical education of students and clinical research by the Division's faculty.

USC PT Associates – Marengo Street • Outpatient orthopaedic and neurologic patient care provided by faculty members. • Demonstrates that high quality, evidence based care can be provided in today’s reimbursement climate. • Serves as an incubator for the development of new models of practice at the doctoral level. • Academic and clinical faculty develop and test new clinical approaches here and bring the results back into the entry-level curriculum. • Serves as a site for conducting applied research. • Houses the Division's Orthopaedic and Neurologic clinical residency programs.
USC PT Associates – University Park Campus • Provides care to students, faculty and staff. • Serves as consultant in wellness and prevention for University.
USC University Hospital • Tertiary facility staffed by USC Faculty through contractual agreement. • Specialty areas of practice in orthopaedics, neurology, cardiopulmonary, organ transplantation and bariatric medicine. • Outpatient focus on orthopaedics and hand therapy. • Serves as site for first student-patient interaction with joint clinical and academic faculty oversight.
USC Norris Cancer Center • Provides post operative care to patients with bowel and bladder cancer. • Provides comprehensive continence care in out patient setting for all patients needing care.
