Professional Interests

Dr. Noriko Yamaguchi is a physical therapist practicing at USCPhysical Therapy Associates on the Health Sciences Campus, thefaculty practice for the USC Division of Biokinesiology andPhysical Therapy. She specializes in treating patients withorthopedic and neurologic disorders, cancer treatment relatedimpairments, vestibular dysfunction, and balance and gaitimpairments. Dr. Yamaguchi is a member of the Orthopedic Sectionand the Geriatrics Section of the American Physical TherapyAssociation and a member of the National Strength and ConditioningAssociation. She is a Certified Strength and ConditioningSpecialist and a Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner. 

Dr. Yamaguchi is an Instructor of Clinical Physical Therapy in theUSC Division of Biokinesiology and Physical Therapy. She teaches inthe Doctor of Physical Therapy program within the TherapeuticExercise curriculum. She is the course director for Special Topicsin Therapeutic Exercise (PT 530b), and coordinates the CommunityExercise Program at the faculty practice. She is also involved withguest lectures and laboratory sessions in topics including theassessment and exercise prescription for the balance impairedpatient and lymphedema evaluation and treatment.
