The Division of Biokinesiology and Physical Therapy participates in a variety of collaborative research. The Philips-Fisher Center, Bice Clinical Research Center, and Rehabilitation Engineering Research Center are examples of ongoing collaborative research.
Through clinical trials, or clinical research, investigators are able to find new and improved medicines or treatments for people. Clinical research in the Division of Biokinesiology and Physical Therapy focuses on a variety of areas, including stroke, cancer, ACL injuries, aging, low-back pain, pelvic pain, and tendon pain.
