    At Keck Hospital of USC, we offer advanced physical therapy management of patients with heart-related and lung-related problems. We specialize in creating a customized treatment plan for each patient that includes a physical examination, thorough medical history review, and considers the patient’s goals for recovery.

    Our clinicians provide expert care that may include:
    • Interval exercise training
    • Education on breathing techniques
    • Chest wall and thoracic mobility
    • Strengthening muscles important for posture and breathing
    • Education and teaching of airway clearance techniques
    • Aerobic and anaerobic activities
    • Education of appropriate exercise parameters
    • Reconditioning of the heart and lungs.
