Pain Management

  • Overview

Pain is a normal, but unpleasant and emotional experience associated with actual or potential tissue damage. Pain management at USC is provided by physical therapists dedicated to identifying and treating pain using comprehensive care for patients with both acute and chronic pain.

Our treatment focuses on utilizing current, evidence-based methods in pain science along with physical rehabilitation to improve daily function, increase mobility, minimize and manage pain, and increase strength, stability, and flexibility while preventing disease progression.

Our goal is to develop life-long pain management success for every patient through a multifaceted, comprehensive and patient-centered care plan.
