Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)

At the USC Division of Biokinesiology and Physical Therapy, we are committed to transforming education in the physical therapy field. In order to maintain this commitment, we now offer our esteemed DPT program in both residential and hybrid formats.

The residential DPT program is nationally recognized as a leader in physical therapy education. Ranked number one in the nation by U.S. News & World Report, the Division offers a rigorous curriculum, nationally and internationally recognized faculty and 50 weeks of clinical experiences in diverse settings integrated throughout the three-year program. As a student in this program, you will attend classes on USC’s campus, collaborate with our expert faculty and benefit from USC’s location within an elite medical community that features state-of-the-art teaching hospitals and laboratories.

The hybrid DPT program, DPT@USC, reflects the existing residential program with respect to the rigorous curriculum, exceptional faculty and extensive clinical education program. As a student, you will attend classes online and intermittently on campus. With this hybrid option, top-ranked USC will offer its high-quality DPT program to passionate physical therapy students across the nation.

The inaugural DPT@USC cohort will begin classes in June 2018. To learn more about the hybrid DPT program, visit the new DPT programs website:
