  • The Division of Biokinesiology and Physical Therapy is committed to providing physical therapists with high-caliber, evidence-based courses to advance professional development and promote lifelong learning. All of our continuing education courses are open to the wider physical therapy community.

    Registration Fees for USC Clinical Instructors
    USC Clinical Instructors are an integral part of our mission of training highly skilled physical therapists. We depend upon clinical instructors across the nation to provide our students with a rigorous clinical experience. Your expertise and generosity with your time allows USC to consistently graduate top leaders in our profession.

    In recognition for their guidance and mentorship, USC clinical instructors will receive a reduced registration fee for individual continuing education courses. To be eligible for this special rate, you must have trained a USC entry-level DPT student within a period of twelve months prior to the course date. The name of your student intern will be requested at the time of registration.

    Registration Fees for USC Alumni
    Alumni who are members of the USC PT Alumni Association (PTAA) can register for our courses at a reduced rate. You can sign up for membership online at http://pt.usc.edu/ptaa/. Membership to the PTAA is free and offers many benefits throughout the year.

    Course Registration

    Online registration is now available. Payment options include credit card or check. Checks should be made payable to "USC BKN and PT" and mailed to:

    USC PT Continuing Education Programs, 1540 Alcazar St. CHP 155, Los Angeles, CA 90089.

    Refunds 
    If you need to cancel your registration, you must submit your request in writing more than 30 days before the course start date to receive a refund minus a $50 processing fee. Please send an e-mail to ptconed@usc.edu. Cancellations received 14 to 30 days before the program start date are subject to a refund of one-half of the program fee plus a $50 processing fee. Cancellation requests received within 14 days of the program start date are not eligible for refunds. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule courses due to an insufficient number of registrants or other unforeseen circumstances. Under these circumstances, fees will be returned in full to the registrant. The Division of Biokinesiology and Physical Therapy is under no financial obligation to reimburse participants for airline tickets, hotel reservations, or any other costs incurred should the need to cancel or reschedule programs arise.

    When you choose to register online for a continuing education course, all of the information provided to us is kept strictly private, including your name, contact information and credit card information. We do not share personal information of any type with third parties under any circumstances.

    If we decide to make any changes to our privacy policy, we will post these changes to this privacy statement, our homepage and other places we deem appropriate. We reserve the right to modify this privacy statement at any time. If we make changes to this policy, we will notify you by e-mail or by means of a notice on our home page.
